Telematics terminals are radio transmitters. Deploying unapproved RF equipment exposes the fleet owner, not only the installer, to confiscation and penalties — and invalidates any data the devices produced.
AMAT operates as an accredited provider so equipment approval, installer identity and installation records are traceable for every unit fitted.
Equipment and installation records
Each deployment maintains device type approvals, SIM registration details, serial-to-vehicle mapping and dated installation certificates. That register is what allows a client to answer a regulator or an insurer with a document instead of an assurance.

Speed governors and electronic security
Where speed limitation is mandated, governors are fitted and sealed to the required conformity standard and the seal record is retained. Electronic security work — CCTV, access control and alarm systems — is delivered under the corresponding licensing conditions for the country of installation.
Working across three countries
Burundi, Tanzania and DR Congo each apply their own approval and data rules, with partner coverage in Kenya. Multi-country rollouts are sequenced country by country so no vehicle enters service ahead of its approvals.
